Bike Week

National Bike Week began last Sunday and runs through to this weekend. Harrow has been promoting cycling with a roaming bike buddy who has been encouraging local commuters to cycle as well as information and promotional stands that appear close to congested traffic within minutes!
Cycling is great to get about the local area and enjoy the weather, as well as to get you fit, so go back to the bike today!
Our Bike Week events end with a bang at this year's Under One Sky outdoor festival on June 28 at Kodak Sports Ground in Harrow, where a large cycling roadshow will be available for the 10,000+ attendees to try cycling, as well as learn more about the best way to bike it.

I am really pleased with the new cycle parking outside St george's centre in harrow. They were always full and its very good that you put in more. Thanks!

Not a cyclist but can see how many are being helped by it. How about where the people-parking spots are?

Roaming Bike Buddy accosted me on pinner road and was amazing. He got me onto a bike, taught me to pedal (yes, he covers the EXTREME basics!!) and it was all quite fun. I was surprised how quickly you can cover short distances and would love to have some training and try cycling. Hope to see him again and like how he's cycling then stops and just pops up in front of you introducing himself, a very funny and likeable chap.

Have to second what's being said: The roaming man was a nutter! Great though as I can't get him or his voice out of my head. And that bike was just insane!!!
