North Harrow Church Celebrates 75 Years with Bikes, Trains and more

St Alban's Church in North Harrow has been a focal point of the area for over 75 years. To celebrate the occasion, they are having a "Jewels of Metroland" festival which will celebrate the changes the church has seen including a railway exhibition, bike display from each decade and more. The festival kicks off this Friday from noon and runs over the weekend too. For more information see their website.

MAD MEN star goes GREEN

Mad Men star Vincent Kartheiser has decided to ditch the car in favour of public transport. He's not only talking the talk but walking the walk.. literally. He's also just done a public service announcement promoting trains in the US (which we provided a teaser of last week) and has told the New York Times:

“Instead of driving and being stressed out about traffic, you can work your scene, you can do your exercises or whatever on the bus. Everyone’s got their own deal.”
