Parents across the borough are being encouraged to leave their cars behind on Wednesday to explore and discover fascinating local landmarks, while keeping their kids fit and healthy.
This year's theme is 'Wow! Landmarks!' - encouraging the youngsters in the borough to take notice of town halls, community centres, parks and museums.

In addition, pupils at Nower Hill are taking part in a Try Cycling project, to encourage students to try cycling to school over a four week period. The programme challenges students to cycle to school half the time during the four week period.
Two schools have also had air quality awareness sessions and activities which encourage sustainable transport and discuss the impact our travel choices have on local air quality, to great success.

they are usually excellent. I believe if you read about the mass bike ride there were loads of participants from nower hill on it too. Harrow's schools are going the right way about things.

yeah, maybe kids are running to school away from it!
I just checked the walk to school website and it's strider, a mascot for the campaign. he's supposed to be a giant foot representing walk to school.
