A HUGE thank you to the 10,000 plus people who came out for Ealing's Sky Ride and supported this event. It was interesting to say the least and extremely heartening to see so many families out enjoying cycling.
There was a lot of disruption to the area which caused many a heated debate, but as we positively conversed with an angry friend, we requested them not to add to global warming by getting so hot-headed.
Valid points from every side of the fence and some food for thought was provided.
Thank you to those who showed patience as Ealing changed its streetscape to make it a cycling haven, and to the cyclists who came out to try the roads.
Finally, congratulations to the biking bride: you know who you are :)
A wise choice to cycle there when you found out that roads would be closed. We hope the ceremony was as beautiful as you appeared on Sunday.
