PCSO Ali Wasiq of the North Harrow Safer Neighbourhood team joined a group on Nower Hill students for some serious on the road cycle training. Of the 18 cyclist the majority were from Year 8. However 2 of the group were Nikki and Neeru who both have offers to study at Cambridge University. Cambridge being a big cycling city passing the level 3 cycle proficiency will be a great start to their careers at uni.
The cycle training course comprised of four 90 minute sessions on the road in full traffic conditions. They learned how to turn right, manage large roundabouts, long vehicles turning right and T junctions. The students thoroughly enjoyed the course and are now safer and more aware cyclists.

Well done to Nower Hill, definitely the best bikers of North Harrow. This school is one to be proud of. Good working with your police team too.
Good lads.
