Cable Car Planned for Olympics

The Mayor of London is planning to install a cable car in time for the Olympics. What do you think about this and would you find it useful?

Can we get one from Harrow across west london? It's a nightmare to go to heathrow or hillingdon or even ealing from harrow.

Good idea. Especially if you're planning to throw down a law suit once the inevitable injury occurs.

Not sure about this. Isn't this like the money thrown at the Millennium Dome (which is great as the O2) but what would anyone do with an out of use cable car?

It could be used for the London Eye.

I think they meant when it's no longer being used it could be used as another pod on the London eye.

Yeah, use it to go on the London Eye and then when you get to the top, just hop onto it and tell it where you want to go. Like a Johnny cab.

Zulundar, I have no non-sarcastic way of answering your question.

Why for the Olympics? Why not for Christmas?
