Be a Hero. Save the Planet.

It's wet today but apparently will brighten up tomorrow. Every time it rains, someone says it's not practical to walk or cycle. By doing so you'll be doing something that could save the planet and you'll be a hero. On that note we thought you'd like to hear our conversation with some other real heroes, the good folks at Calamity Comics in Harrow. With businesses like yours who commit to travelling sustainably, we can change the world. Thank you for your efforts. It's Up to All of Us!

CALAMITY!!!! Thank you for being such a great part of Harrow's business community and being the centre of awesomeness. Who'd have thought you guys were heroes too? I knew your day jobs were just alter egos. I'll be in for my bag soon. Keep the streets safe, sir.

Thanks, I LOVE THE PODCASTS!!! The sound is a little low but the content is great. I love how you go from cycling to saving the world and who'd be the line up for a green team to save the planet! LOL!

Another fantastic podcast and truly worthy content with Calamity Comics who I couldn't agree more are a part of Harrow's history. I remember the old stall they had and the watford shop. Hope you guys stay in Harrow always. Is Amazing 632 out yet?

I havent been to the comic shop for years and it is so good to hear John's voice, see his pic and hear how they're still not only running a great shop but also contributing to the local area. Go green everyone!

I have lived in Harrow all my life and have been going to Calamity since I was a schoolkid. My first comic was bought there and I've been hooked since. Comics have changed and so has Calamity as they've moved a couple of times but the great thing is that John and Eric are still there and they have kept me coming back. Even through Spiderman Clone Sagas (don't ask!), Batman breaking his back and the whole One More Day (PLEASE DEFINITELY DON'T ASK!!!) I've stuck with comics and them because it's great having a local shop that is unique, people travel from all over London to visit and have grown with us. They recently celebrated 20 years and I'm proud they're still in Harrow. Watford was no good so stay in Harrow guys. And John, I agree with your superhero team line-up! Thank you for featuring them on the podcast and well done to you guys for helping keep Harrow green and saving the world!

Calamity is a legendary - literally, we speak about it like 'remember that comic shop?' and I only just (through this pod) found out that it's STILL IN HARROW! Excellent, gonna head down there sometime soon. Where's Springfield Rd???

Springfield Rd is near St George's entrance where the music shop is/was.

John & Eric are fab and the shop is ace. They had a dress up as superheroes day and it was so cool, only John and Eric didn't take part!

This is a great podcast - a local business that believes in doing what it can for the local environment. Thanks for this. I have never been to this shop but seems like they're well loved and a part of Harrow. Well done guys and I shall visit soon. I have no interest in comics but want to congratulate you for being the very reason why we should shop local and think global.

Love this shop, it's one of the reasons I'm still in Harrow.

Bought my comics from this guy and he was top friendly. Big up for saving the earth and you sound like a nice man. Will try and take more detours through Harrow now, seems this shop has a following.
