Yesterday we decided to try a little experiment. We thought given the heat and the gorgeous sunshine we'd see how many people we could get together for an impromptu led-walk.
North Harrow station was the venue where we picked up 17 people who were out enjoying the sunshine and joined us for a fab 20 min stroll.
I asked if I could take their picture for the blog but they used shyness as an excuse. So here are some photos from our journey anyway:
Deserted bus stop as many chose to walk instead
A lone car whizzes past this beautiful tree, which two walkers noticed for the first time
Thank you to those who joined us yesterday. We definitely felt the best part of the walk was that we made some new friends. Big shout out to those who got excited when they heard we were from It's Up to All of Us, and to those who didn't know about the site, see you here soon!

To clarify: I came along for this walk and it was absolutely brilliant. The walk leader was very professional and welcoming and gave us all bottled water at the beginning and bought us a snack afterwards. It was warm but we enjoyed the route (mostly greenery on the way and roads on the way back) and the company. Thank you for a truly unique and spontaneous experience. I made some new friends and only heard about it because someone who follows the blog/twitter regularly called me up to say they had seen it up. Thank you!
I loved this, it was my 1st led walk. Hope you do another one and SO GOOD to meet others who read the website and believe in the It's Up ethos. We can work together and make miracles happen!
