I was half expecting it to be gate-crashed by the world's first electric bike gang, especially when they said the charging points weren't for bikes! Where's the voltheads??

Thank you for the excellent coverage and images which were very cool. Loved hearing about this as it happened, this is why I love this blog and twitter!!

Another one here who was following it as it happened, thought some of the qs you were getting were really funny, and it was like summarising all the main points as they were revealed, so thanks. Really interested to see how this shapes up and hope you are all successful in turning London Electric.

Nice work, the North East one didn't sound too interesting but the levp and Terri Wills ones sounded great.

Terri Wills is great, I've heard so much about the Clinton Foundation and am so excited they were present and are doing some great work. Thank you for covering it and the picture of Terri.

Zipcar and Streetcar have merged?? When did this happen? I've been seeing the 247 ads for Streetcar everywhere and they seem to be as if it's still Streetcar.

Ace, bring on London's electric power cut.

Shannon H said...

Ace: Cynic much?

Anonymous said...

I'm just saying, all these EVs plugged in means more demand, more supply required = higher prices of electricity, more reliance on electricity, possibly electricity rationing and the possibility of masses of power cuts (which would render personal vehicle transportation useless) and of course I'm sure somehow, somewhere some kid will get electrocuted. I'm just saying... I was also saying Ace, that's not my name.

That's a real positive attitude Anonymous, why don't we just not try anything new ever and just hope the sun provides all our energy.

Anonymous said...

That's not such a bad idea. Solar is here as long as the earth is.

MegaMAN said...

But can you HARNESS THE POWER OF THE SUN, O SON OF JOR-EL???!

RoboJox said...

Lol, ok but electric points will help andmaybe in the future they'll be solar powered too.
