Transport for London has produced a London Underground "heat map" showing which areas in zones one and two had the highest daily average temperatures from 4.00pm to 7.00pm on 28-29 July. The hottest line was the Central, followed by the Bakerloo.

I hate that the trains are so hot. Especially when it's not too bad outside then you get on a train and it's a boileroom. Ugh.
The trains are like ovens sometimes. I remember a good looking guy got on at Harrow on the Hill and came off Wembley PArk looking like a swamp rat.

Probably he was 'the pits' if you know what I mean? As in smelly.
I hate with a vengeance the Bakerloo line. It really is aptly titled. Baker is not a profession I ever wanted but if you can stand the heat on board this line, you'll have been prepped for the job.
Yes it was his pits and the V on his back and the stench. I hate to even think about where he was going. Poor chap.

Met line isn't too bad if you dont sit in the sun and the central one is ok.

Rehan, I love the Bakerloo line. In hot weather it's great sitting across from attractive young people... :)
