Harrow’s Business Improvement District launched its first active travel initiative on June 9 2009, with regular lunchtime walks targeting Harrow town centre businesses.
The initial walk attracted over 30 employees and feedback forms indicated that the route and idea of a lunchtime walk was very welcome. The initiative was facilitated by the Economic Development team at Harrow alongside NHS Harrow, who helped lead the walk and run regular walks across the borough.
