I actually thought his review was a cool piece of PR. It'll rip everyone's expectations to shreds and cause hysteria when it is released and people see how amazing it is.
I missed the episode then saw it online. I think Clarkson is a funny man and enjoy his show. I was excited to see the Tesla in action and not suprised something went wrong with Clarkson at the wheel. I think the despute is the way the footage was edited insinuating that the Tesla doesn't run at it's stated charge, which is not true. But the way it was shown is ambiguous so you couldn't hold it against him really.
The tesla is the future, eat electric, Clucky!
Scathing review, not really. More like one that says it doesn't work!
Great car and Clarkson is an environmental hater. He likes poisoning the planet for his pleasure, so don't listen to anything he says.
Jeremy Clarkson should not be allowed near this car. He does nothing to promote greener cars and should be shot into space.
Didn't he batter the G Whiz too and he was wrong abuot that now wasn't he? ;)
He's a car connoisseur and you can't please everyone. For the time the car was working fine he loved it, it just all went haywire because Tesla didn't supply him with the right testing cars. So, don't take it too seriously.
When did this come on? Didn't it get advertised? Dam I missed it.
I have another name for Clarkson but can't say it on this forum!
He hates environmentally friendly cars and believes if they aren't loud, fast and roomy they are rubbish.
I wonder what his legacy will be?
Let's keep things positive and hopefully his legacy will be of a car lover who embraced the green technology once it suits his needs.
just read that Clarky called Gordon Brown "a one eyed scottish idiot". This says it all really - Clarkson is an arrogant bigot and should not be taken seriously. What a fool.
Clarkson has called the PM a one eyed scottish idiot - what an idiot. I'm not a big fan of Gordon but saying that in public being who he is was really stpid. Top Gear cancelled?
What an idiot. But good review of the car. His reviews are meant to be entertaining.
Clarkson is a true blue green hater.
The Tesla review isn't so bad. I'm still gonna get one... in my dreams :)
