His message is fantastic, what a positive ray of hope, a brilliant interview, thanks Corey!

Anonymous said...

This man is fantastic, he really is clued up and knows his stuff. He's not pretending to be green like other celebs, he's the real deal. Thank you so much Corey, this is amazing, such words of wisdom, we'll always support you!

Anonymous said...

Unbelievable, he has said a lot and it sounds fab. Can't wait for the album, love the background music, need to have it!!!

Anonymous said...

This is absolutely fabulous, thank you SO much for this!!!! Corey, your words are so true and you are a real eco-warrior. I love the Green song and the album sounds extremely interesting and I must have it! Well done on all you’ve become and are achieving, we’ll definitely do our part as you are too! Love you X

Susie, you are one lucky woman, your husband rocks!

I can’t get over that he’s not only seen our comments but actually moved by them. I am just sitting here in front of my PC thinking wow..wow..wow.. I’ve paused the interview after just 5 mins because I can’t get past the part where he says he’s read and moved by the blog and we got through to him. Wow!

Anonymous said...

Amazing words, amazing podcast, beautiful interview and inner view! I loved it, thank you.

Anonymous said...

Got through to him withot even trying! We were just talking about the song generally and how fantastic it is and it just is so good he heard the comments and responded. Corey Feldman, you are a truth purveyor and we adore you, come to LONDON NOW!

Anonymous said...

I know, mee too. He got choked up reading our reactions to his song. I was happy when I read it on his website that he saw our reactions but hearing him say it is just amazing. Corey, we loved your song and it is our anthem and you HAVE to continue the good work. We’ll support you forever and are pleased to have been reintroduced to you after such a long gap (I for one thought you disappeared or weren’t even alive) until I read about you here. It’s so good you’ve turned your life around and your interview is BRILLIANT. Thank you for supporting such important issues.

Anonymous said...

I am so thrilled after listening to this, it is brilliant. He is so right about the experiement which could destroy the world, how dare they make such a massive decision without consulting everyone? We need more people standing up to them and we have to lead.

Anonymous said...

The LHC thing is freaky, man I can’t believe this. The govts are ridicuklous for letting it happen. Thanks for alerting us to it dude.

Anonymous said...

I just read about it after googling what they were talking about, scary that this happened and I never knew. What next, a real Jurassic Park? Cloning soldiers? Robot soliders? I’m freaked out by it. I think I need a Technology Analogy fix…

Anonymous said...

I recycle my bags too! I’m like Corey!!! YAY! And yes, car sharing is not only environmentally friendly it’s more fun and the right thing to do. Pack your cars guys and gals and make the ride fun, it’s better for the journey and for the planet.

Anonymous said...

I use public transport every day and to be honest I felt pretty unrewarded. I know that’sa terrible thing to say but everyone champions cycling and walking and say it’s great people share a car but what about us who wait in line for a bus and still do it because it’s good for the environment. It’s mass car sharing in a way. And after hearing this I am so pleased Corey mentioned using public transport. THANK YOU. I know you only mentioned it but it means the world to me. It’s the pat on the back I wanted for so long. I know that’s a selfish need but it helps!!!

Anonymous said...

Well done Corey for a great interview!

Anonymous said...

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! I want Technoogy Analogy and what an interesting discussion of where it all started and the artwork, I love the image! Gotta have it!

Anonymous said...

I love this album, it’s like the Matrix trilogy of music but without the confusing parts. It completely rocks and is worth it, get hold of it and increase the peace.

Anonymous said...

It’s up to all of us – I love it when he says that!

Anonymous said...

I KNOW! It gives me goosebumps!!!

Anonymous said...

I feel like he spoke directly to the listeners which was great, and he sounds so passionate about what he does. Excellent stuff.

Anonymous said...

I agree, his message at the end was fantastic, by then you feel you’ve been in a room with him and you know him. I’m really looking forward to the album now.

Anonymous said...

Does this video have a corresponding video? I’d love to see it!

Anonymous said...

I’m so pleased he spoke about what we can all do and also how it’s not about being perfect, it’s the encouragement we need and is so true. Green is the Colour is so the song of now. Walk, cycle, car share everyone. Do your bit!

Anonymous said...

Don’t forget use public transport!

Anonymous said...

I agree, a video would be the icing on the cake!!! It’s a really good interview.

Anonymous said...

Sorry guys, but it sounds like it was done via teleconferencing or something, so don’t think there’s a video.

Anonymous said...

I loved the promo and it’s so good to finally hear this. Corey talks about everything from seeing our comments on the site to his own life and overcoming a messed up lifestyle, his family and inspiration to the album and greener living. I am so pleased and proud of him that he has taken such a big step and made the album sustainable with the manufacturing process and am shocked it’s not standard practice. The amount of money record labels make from consumers is insane and they can’t even spend it back on the planet. There should be a law requiring environmentally friendly packaging of a minimum standard at the very least. I’m going to order the CD just to make a support statement and the green song and I haven’t bought a CD in 4 years!

I am so glad he mentioned we can all do our bit from recycling and using public transport, it’s so important to get that message across and he sounds like he’s someone who’s very much at peace with himself and cares deeply for the earth. I respect that so much in a person.

I am so happy he has done this interview and even mentioned media biases and talks so well of Europe and Germany. It’s a goldmine of information and you can imagine it being whittled down in print, I’m so grateful to this site and campaign for making us all feel so united part of seomthing that is a solution. I used to do a bit like recycle but that was because it’s mandatory. I now voluntarily take my bags to the grocery store to recycle and always insist we carshare if we can or use other modes of transport. I live 10 mins from shops and walk there when feasible. If I need milk or potatoes or something, I’ll take a bike we have (but never used until this year) and if the weather’s good. Now the car is reserved for weekend monthly shopping trips for larger essentials. I also take public transport to university. I wouldn’t keep doing this much if it wasn’t for this site, this message and thins like Corey’s involvement which is imporant and a real boost in morale. If you have a poster for the site or for Corey’s album I’ll happily put it up at my uni. I want to spread the word and am thrilled with the interview. It’s so heartfelt. I just had tocomment and thank you.

Anonymous said...

wow Nagma, what a nice comment! I am so thrilled the interview is so good. I was realy expecting a 5-6 min message at most and thought they made it sound longer in the promo but it's almost 30 mins! THANK YOU!!

Anonymous said...

Top interview, fantastic message and sounds like a cracking album. Well done mate.

Anonymous said...

I am inspired by this beyond words. Thank you.

Anonymous said...

The whole community on this site is amazing and the involvement of someone like Corey is just fantastic. I can’t thank you guys enough for all the positive messages you put out there and Corey, you my brother, are a true legend. You have inspired so many people on this site as you can see from the comments. Some who remember you from the 80s, others who thought you were dead and some who had never heard of you until your song “Green si the Colour”. I wish you every success and thank you for such kindness and good words, you are a leader in tough times. Here’s hoping those that run the world listen loud and clear to our message and we do what’s right. THANK YOU EVERYONE.

Anonymous said...

I have spent my entire morning listening to this and it’s fantastic. I’ll put it on my iPod tonight and will be listening to it on the way to work tomorrow as well. It’s excellent that hes said so much. I can’t believe this is all happening in Harrow, my home town. Go green everyone and I must say I loved Corey’s message at the end and also the robot chick’s announcement. Keep doing what you do guys, you are amazing.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

wow, I'm blown away. Once again Corey you're a legend!

Anonymous said...

I am so thrilled to hear this, it is absolutely fantastic and so heartening to hear someone in a position such as his to be so proactive and make a difference. It's up to all of us, no matter what creed, colour, status and position so let's all make the difference.

Anonymous said...

I have the Technology Analogy CD and it's great, a real story throughout. Corey's vocals are varied, very good on some tracks and average on others but he's a man on a mission and with heart so let's support him. Well done Corey and see you on tour!

Anonymous said...

1. I really like the quality of this interview. The sound is crisp, the background music soothing and the questions asked very pertinent.

2. Corey is extremely clued up. His knowledge on issues aren't from a pre-rehearsed press statement but from the heart. You can hear his thoughts and concerns ring through which is excellent.

3. He's a family man. It's so obvious this dude loves his wife and kid. I'm a sucker for any family man, so you got points there kid.

4. The LHC thing, the whole issue of greener living, everything he says makes a whole lot of sense and shows he's hip to what's going on and is doing something about it. I am very impressed he's financing and ensuring his CD is kind to the earth else what's the point. His tone when he says this isn't showing off, it's saying it like he believes in it and this is how it should be. You can't argue with sincerity. An honest view and an honourable one.

5. The issue of sustainable transport. I originally came to this blog because I've seen the banners in Harrow about it's up to all of us with that hot girl on them. Yes you got my attention and yes I've been checking in since (discreetly, non blogger me), and I've been educated on a few things (smarter driving, growing my own, the difference you can make) and glanced over others (quotes of the day, event details) but at the core of it this site is all about sustainable transport. Yes there is deviation at times (grow your own!) but it sticks to a plan. I like that and I've enjoyed following it these past 6 months or so. I hope Harrow continues the excellent work and also that this campaign runs it's full course. I loved the endorsements from Martin Sheen and Rob Lowe in the previous one and this one has topped it all. Wait, I'm off topic! What I want to say in this point is that I'm pleased Corey mentioned sustainable transport - walking, car sharing, public transport. That's what this is about - cutting down poisoning our planet. I'm very interested to hear Corey himself carshares and I liked the questions asked to him (although much of the audio is answers). That's this point.

6. The CD. I'm not much of a music man but I love the green song. I'm a little older than most of you so remember Pink Floyd in their heyday and this doesn't compare to it, but it captures the spirit perfectly. The song is very good and positive and from what I've read here the whole album is a story which is really exciting to see musical compositions going back to how they used to be. I hope it does well and that the band continue their efforts. I for one don't order online but if I see it in stores, I'll pick it up.

Last point:

I'm not your average internet surfer nor do I spend most of my time in front of a computer. The hour or so I do spend a day I try to learn something and this is one of the very few sites I've begun following because I live in Harrow. Thank you for making a difference to my and other's lives and thank you Corey for coming across this site and making such a valuable contribution. You're obviously someone revered and you're impressions on people are working wonders if this blog is anything to go by.

It's discussions like the ones I've seen on here that actually make me proud to be from this sleepy, green suburb, so keep up the good work. You're doing us all proud.

Good wishes,
Mr Alex Shaw

"every day is a chance to start over..." - WOW!

Anonymous said...

Don't beat yourself over what you haven't done but make the difference and start changing your world today, so true.. love it. And yep, me too.. when he says It's up to all o us I can't help but smile :) It's like this campaign IS Harrow. It's fantastic!

Also liking the electric gal at the end, very cool.

Anonymous said...

The electric gal at the end? She's so HOT! I want one!!! Seriously, who is that? I love that voice and want to see a podcast with her and bring her to one of the events, she's the ultimate!!

Anonymous said...

Sincere words, great "inner view". Thank you.

Anonymous said...

Pretty damn good stuff! An intelligent guy and very enthusiastic, do come to Harrow Corey!

Anonymous said...

excellent mate, top notch, going green with you!

Anonymous said...

Some truthful words from a very interesting character! I do like the green song but have reservations about how he'd sound singing a whole album, but then it's such a good cause and concept, here's to trying it out, and yep, me too - not a big music buff.

Anonymous said...

Whoa! Loads of comments and I just discovered this!!!! I check the blog after 3 days and find they've put the interview up and it's brill! And you lot have commented already, seems it's making an impact. It is worthy of repeat listenings and definitely a little nugget fillled segment, spread the good word people: WE NEED GREEN!

Anonymous said...

I have forwarded this interview to everyone and it's rated #2 green site on the green-o-meter! Well done guys!

Anonymous said...

I leave you guys alone for one day and the whole place explodes! Wow, a HUGE thank you for putting this up, it's pure gold. I love this interview and it just proves everything everyone has been saying on here. I also finally checked out Corey's site which is cool and exactly what it should be for someone who has done what he has.

I am really at a loss as to what to say after eharing it because how can you compare with everything else that's written here by everyone else? That sums it up, it really is a positve message and very informative. Thanks for this and hope it continues. Well done!

Hello,
I have been an avid follower of this website for a while and firstly, I really like what it does. It keeps you informed. That’s it. That’s the basic premise of it. No lecturing, no forceful ‘do this, do that’, it just presents options.

I’ve been following the Corey Feldman posted items with interest and really like how an obscure mention has snowballed into so much interest. I’m someone who admits I had no clue who he was until I read about him here then looked him up. I like the song and am thankful it’s not ear-bashing ‘rock and roll’ at all but soothing and calming. I am completely taken aback by how many people have left comments for him and on his interview/promo/posts here and it is so good to see so many people actively interested in sustainable living. You are all the future hopes of tomorrow and in my time (which may soon be up) we never worried about the planet but then it was a different time. Computers are everywhere, everyone going anywhere can’t seem to go anywhere without taking their music with them on their phone or in their ears and electronic mail and internet has expanded possibilities beyond belief.

I have always been sceptical about the internet as I have read about how it is used for scams, pornography and crime but am heartened to see it being used here for good. Everything I have read here has been positive and it gives me hope for my grandchildren.

I hope you all continue your efforts and thank Mr Feldman for his contribution to uniting so many people as well as the people of Harrow for doing so much. Well done on all that you are achieving and I shall continue to read with interest the changes you are all making.

Thank you, Mrs R Black

As Radiohead said: OK Computer!
I love this! This whole podcast and audio content is a great way of interacting. I miss the videos, I really liked the one on walking and the mass ride one. I hope there’s more soon.
I’m very impressed (like others) with the quality of the Feldman interview. The sound is good, the music is a very nice touch and the voice at the end is superb. Keep up the good work and keep rallying the troops. Now we HAVE to bring about change and protect this planet! It’s the only one we got!

Anonymous said...

Awesome interview, great words and fantastic experience listening to it. Thanks for this and well done.

Anonymous said...

Corey rocks! Not just his music but his ideals, his views and his green living. Well done to his wife for inspiring him!

Anonymous said...

Susie Feldman is amazing, she has to come on the blog!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I walk and use public transport and I recycle my bags at Harrow Tescos and I re-use them too (but how good it is that they've gotten rid of those extremely small bags they thought were environmentally friendly when in actual fact you needed 5 of them to fit in 3 items). Listening to this makes me feel better about what I do and want to do more. Some very good words and so good to see Corey keeping an eye on this campaign. Keep up the good work everyone!

Anonymous said...

Corey and Susie forever!

Anonymous said...

Truth Movement is a really cool name and I dig the Green song. I hope the whole album is this good. I can't wait to hear it and am so pleased with how much Corey is doing and if you're reading Corey, don't stop doing what you're doing. One action from someone like you inspires others and you are doing the world a service by speaking about your work. Love to your famiy xxxxxxx

Anonymous said...

OMG this is so cool! Corey Feldman on this site? I love the Two coreys and Lost Boys!! Hi Corey!

Anonymous said...

Dude, you are officially the coolest person on the planet for what you are doing. I am so hyped that you've gone to the extent you have to make your album so green that it is a trend setting action. Keep it up!

Anonymous said...

For those that don't know, here are the details on how green the Cd is (taken from Corey's website):

"Storm Thorgerson’s artwork is truly breathtaking on AMAZINGLY GLOSSY 100% RECYCLED PAPER!! The CD comes in a Digipak that looks like an old album sleeve. Inside you will find a 10 page color booklet."
"the packaging as a whole is 100% biodegradable and non earth damaging. We proudly spent a little bit extra to get 100% RECYCLED PAPER. CORN PLASTIC DISC TRAY (made of corn) and we even printed everything with SOY INK!! So essentially if you don’t like the album you can simply throw it in the Ocean and it will just go back to nature. Hopefully you’ll keep it……LOL"

Anonymous said...

Wow, now I know why people are so juiced up about it being green! Soy ink! Biodegradeable!

I love the comment about throwing it in the ocean, not that we'd do it!

Hope others follow suit..

Anonymous said...

Superb interview, great album and a hopeful message. Thanks guys.

Anonymous said...

very nice. good to see a recent image of him too.. he has grown up!

Anonymous said...

Looks like a rocker!

Anonymous said...

I like the story about posiitve enrgy and karma and how you can choose to be annoyed by things or not be. I choose not to!

Anonymous said...

Yes but either the sound dropped or they cut out his naughty word!

Anonymous said...

yeah I noticed that too!

Anonymous said...

Great podcast. He made some good points. Going green will be tough, but nothing good is supposed to be easy...

Anonymous said...

i agree, if you want a free lunch then it doesn't happen. You can't expect to smoke your cigars, drive your polluting hummers and still say you want a room overlooking the peaceful ocean in a tropical resort because you'll have caused temperatures to rise, sea levels to be in chaos and we'll see more extreme weather and scary situations where nature becomes unnatural.

Like the beach? - enjoy it while you can cos unless YOU do something to preserve it it won't be around for much longer. It could disappear because people don't care about the planet. Air pollution kills and causes hurt to animals and humans, causing so many respiratory diseases. Wonder why asthma is on the rise? Look outside your window.

We can ALL do this! I LOVE the name ITS UP TO ALL OF US because it really is! We can't expect one country or one leader to change the world, only we as a collective group of indiviudals can save the planet by all playing our small parts. Don't rely on Obama to save the planet, he can't do anything unless you do what you're supposed to! Don't rely on your neighbour to do your green bit and make up for your mistakes because he can't. Only you are accountable for what you do so DO SOMETHING!

Anonymous said...

Superb interview and some very cool comments on this post too. I have enjoyed listening and reading these, here's hoping we can do this together.

Anonymous said...

Love it guys, keep it up. You ALL are inspiring!!!

Anonymous said...

Fab. Now let's make the change. Buy green, go green, do green. If it isn't carbon neutral or pays back to the planet for what it took, don't consume it. As consumers we can make comapnies changes and especially multi million reocrd labels. MAKE all their CDs and materials biodegradable/recyclable because no one knows what the future holds. Digital downloads have eradicated the need for physical CDs so the least people can do is make sure those that are consumed aren't going to poison the earth. It's ON!

Anonymous said...

the comments on this blog are amazing. The comraderie is fantastic. I'm new and taken aback. Good luck guys.

The interview, the album, the message is all good. I can't praise this enough. I have made near everyone I know listen to this interview and most of them have gone on to re-watch his films and want to know more. Corey, thanks for supporting such a positive initiative and to those running the Its Up to All of Us campaign, a huge thank you for everything. You've not just created a campaign but a movement that will hopefully change the world. Here's to the future, a New World we'll create based on love for one another, tolerance and caring for every living thing in the universe, including our environment. Oneness forever..

Corey, you have said so much truth and it's so apt you have named your band what you have. I honestly think if people took more responsbibility for what they do and looked up to the right people they can make the difference so thank you. Along with Obama, you've changed my view of America - there's hope for you guys yet if this is the shape of things to come!

I love the interview, it's one of the best I've heard with anyone! It's got life, drama, reality, truth and hope! How many interview can cover that? I had no inkling what this guy was doing until I heared the interview and thought, wow he's alright! I have since looked him up too and he's awesome. I really like the Green song and have also recently caught the Two Coreys and thought it fantastic. Susie is my new idol, she's goregous, positive and inspiring. Corey too. Thank you for this and thank you for being so green!

Anonymous said...

OK I've decided to add to this and show Susie some love. Susie is fantastic. She's put up with a complete jerk (Corey HAIM) and is married to the good one. She's turned her life aruond and is the reason Corey is so green. Susie, if you're reading this, you have touched so many people through just being you. Thanks and stay a soldier for the cause!

EDITED COMMENT: PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING STRONG LANGUAGE.

Wow what a phoney. Shame the Truth Movement is so deceptive and there are only positive comments on Corey's. Why not print the negative ones?

Anonymous said...

Hey what's with that = not everyone has liked or dug Corey's music, read all the threads but they all RESPECT what he's doing. Look it up. If someone does good that's good for everyone.

Anonymous said...

I've commented on Corey's posts and said positive things. I'm not into the music and so haven't praised it except saying I like the green song, which I do, and also saying that it's good what you're doing.

How's that phoney?

Anonymous said...

I am so tempted to just copy and paste all those comments that aren't into Corey's music that have been published here but can't be bothered. Firstly "Anonymous" you should state who you are so we can address you directly. Secondly, there are lots of positive things written about Corey because he's a positive person and I suspect negative comments are not that many? What's with your aggressiveness?

Anonymous said...

Truth Movement rock. I haven't heard anything but Technology Analogy but love most of it. Ezekiel's Wheels is amazing, OK is a trip and Green is brilliant. I guess there's always gonna be people who like it and hate it, accept it - it's the truth!

I've listened to this around 10 times since it's been up at various intervals and it never fails to motivate me to do more. Thanks and I hope there's more like this soon. Loving the truth movement music!

Make sure your video is environmentally friendly and adheres to the ethos Corey speaks of not only in the song but during his interview!

This interview rocks, I just ehard it again for the 2nd time after ages and it remains amazing after each listen! This should be on the Green CD single!

I don't think there is a Green CD single. I had a lot of trouble downloading it from the UK iTunes, does anyone know if it's a US iTunes only exclusive?

The video should have:
Greenness of the world
Natrue
People who are green
People mouthing the words
Everything the song sings about

I'd love to hear Susie speak here or at least post, come on we want these two together and now you HAVE to do a special edition Techonollogy Analogy Cd with this interview on it, it's brilliant!

An inner view indeed. Very interesting and satisfying to see someone from such a debaucherous time still has a level head and is actually one of the good souls here today. Very refreshing to hear and informative.

This interview is so englightening. I just came across your site after searching for info on the two coreys and found a whole bunch of info that i've learned here - corey is so green, has a band, a great voice and a very important album out. Thank you.

Love the album especially Ezekiel's Wheels and Green (and OK is just a trip). Can't wait to see the videos, and hopefully these guys live. Go green everyone and well done.
