Mass Bike Ride in Harrow: Last call for registrants

Get your Dad on his bike this Father's Day!
This year, Bike Week, the annual celebration of cycling kicks off on Fathers day weekend (14-15 June) providing the perfect opportunity to spend time with your old man whilst getting him fit!

Drag Dad away from the football and get him on his bike at the Harrow Mass Bike Ride where families will be having fun, getting fit and feeling free at one of the thousands of Bike Week events taking place up and down the UK. This is Harrow’s first Mass Bike Ride with cyclists converging on the town centre from three different locations towards The Grove open park which is behind Harrow on the Hill station. At this location a cycling information stand and roadshow will be highlighting the benefits of cycling as well as allowing everyone to try out different bikes.

Sponsored by Nokia, the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event will see Bike Week events providing opportunities for everyone from total novices to passionate cyclists to get in the saddle. Events have something for the whole family with children’s rides, bike safety checks and advice on getting started – all for free!

Visitors to the Harrow Mass Bike Ride will be able to take part in a range of activities including:
• A free Dr Bike session to get advice and help on how to keep your bike in top condition
• A cycling roadshow
• Different types of bike displays

It is not too late to register for Harrow’s first Mass Bike Ride, log on to www.cycleexperience.com/HarrowMassRide and register for one of the rides. BUT spaces are filling up fast with only a few places left on one of the routes so sign up NOW!

Harrow Council also offers free cycle training for adults and children living, working or studying in the borough. For more information contact 0845 434 8451.
See you on Sunday!
