I've been walking more already since I picked up the step counter from this event. It was very useful to talk to people who knew their stuff and fun to do the step test. The smoothie was nice too. Thanks for this.

I never relised the impact that we could have on a community. I really believe in what this event stands for and would advise every person to take up the challenge of walking/cycling to your destinations on a daily basis. When I was asked to help promote this event I jumped at the opportunity to show how simple it is for every single person of any shape, size or age to promote their own health and wellness. This is a fantastic way to get in shape!

GO FOR IT!

I was there! I got on the bike and had my fitness test but you said I needed to get fitter. It was good to see all sorts of people there of all shapes and ages, it was more comfortable atmosphere than a gym and targeted everyone. I enjoyed getting on the bike then having someone 20 years older than me going on after me and it made me think our health is one common thing and we can all do more for ourselves, like walk more and stuff. Thanks for the steptracker I'm using it and am gonna have to increase my steps but it's setting me targets and thanks for your advice. Do this again please. Cheers.

well done on a fun event, the counsellar who did everything from the bike to the fitness was amazing. She did everything with a smile and was fab. Hats off to all of you for putting on such a great day!

A BIG thank you to Councillor Susan Hall, the Portfolio Holder for Community & Environmental Services who lent her wholehearted support (and feet) to the event. Thanks for helping make it so memorable!
