After our post on the electric Hummer, we received some special correspondence on the vehicle:
"FYI, we brought the electric Hummer to the Capitol today. Unbelievable technology, great potential."
The Governator also met with BYD, an electric car company recently and attended a Shell Station for the Hydrogen Road Tour from San Diego to Vancouver.

WOW! I was impressed with the Hummer although I couldn't see that beasts on European roads, but am more impressed with these pics!! Go Arnie! Go It's Up to All of Us! And now, Go Green with a HUMMER!!!!!

I think it's great he's promoting greener technology more than anyone else. He can do it publicly and it have an impact. So pleased he's doing it.

He's going the Al Gore route, probably because he knows he's on his way out. Lot of PR if you ask me.
nah Barry, he's been doing what he can since he got into office. Made CA memorable and done a lot for it, it's just a very difficult state to run given the complexities.

The Governator must terminate polluting emissions and stop the true lies about climate change. We do not wish to be twins with the toxic gases that are being expelled like Conan the Barbarian by cars that look the like Hummer but are more Predator-like by not being electric. He is the Last Action Hero to save us. He can stop the Rise of the (polluting)Machines by helping with his environmental efforts like this. Hope he's not only Pumping Iron but also clean air into the atmosphere else we'll all get a Raw Deal. Hasta La Vista. Baby.

You can nominate him but only if you win the competition, car share with Doc Brown in the electric delorean and hit 88 MPH in order to re-cast your vote and state you're voting for Arnold for the future. Of course people will think you're talking about an actual election but all will become clear a few weeks later and you'll have cast your vote. It may be the only one for him though as no one else will get it til it's too late.

The electric Hummer is a really positive sign. If polluting manufacturers are willing to change then it means a lot. They could have said they won't or it would not suit their customer needs but this bold move by Hummer is a fantastic gesture and no doubt about it, it's partly because of Arnold Scwarxenegger. He has always endorsed and owned Hummers and now he is the catalyst for them being electric. Another good thing he's done while in office.
