It's Walk to Work Week starting from today!
The weather hasn't done those planning to start their Summer walks any favours, but the best thing about walking is that you can do it whatever the weather.
A good anorak or coat will keep you warm and dry and looking ahead under the horizon of your umbrella with it evening out your view can be a uniquely fun experience. Your walking time is almost always reliable, as your pace rarely fluctuates and it's a fantastic way to start your day, get some exercise during your lunch break or even relax on the way home. A walk really can do wonders and help you lose weight, keep it off or just stay healthy.
So if you can walk into work, now's a great time to try and get started. If it's too long a journey, then try and fit a walk in during your working day or even after work, and see the difference it can make!
