One reader wrote in to us recently and said they could not take the bus for her Christmas shopping again after not being able to carry all she bought home last year. This year she came up with the unique idea of getting her friends together and car sharing to the town centre, splitting up and buying their respective gifts and meeting for a meal and then the drive home together.
